Birth, Death, Marriage Certificates
Certified copies of Bolivian birth, death and marriage certificates may be obtained in Bolivia from the Civil Registry Office (Oficina de Registro Civil) or abroad from a Bolivian consulate
Certificates can be requested by the person named in the certificate, first-degree relative or with a power of attorney.
Criminal Record Certificates
Apply online for a Bolivian criminal record certificate (Certificado Digital de Antecedentes). This service is available to all Bolivian citizens with a valid national identity card. The certificate can be downloaded and verified online. It is valid for 30 days from its date of issue.
A certificate of no criminal record from FELCC - Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking (certificado de antecedentes de la Fuerza Especial de Lucha Contra el Narcotráfico) can be obtained in person in Bolivia from any office of Oficina de Tránsito.
An Interpol Criminal Record Certificate (Certificado de Antecedentes de INTERPOL) is provided to Bolivian and foreign citizens. Applications can be submitted in-person or from abroad through power of attorney submitted to the Departmental Director in La Paz. This document certifies that you have no criminal record outside of Bolivia.
